The practice of SRE has risen to a must-have engineering practice for enterprises seeking to accelerate digital transformations or re-engineer their interfaces to digital-first. During our SRE research, 62% of survey respondents said that they are leveraging SRE. As enterprises are implementing SRE in their respective teams, by developing and adjusting the best practices introduced by Google, this operating model continuously gains attention from decision-makers within IT.
Our SRE research has also highlighted a variety of benefits from adopting SRE: teams that have adopted SRE perceived their company as leaders across customer experience and the quality and speed of innovation across different products, offerings, processes or services. Continuously improving customer experience and the speed of innovation requires attention for digital transformations or digital-first to succeed. But there are also challenges associated with the adoption of SRE, such as finding people who are skilled and knowledgeable to step into this new role and operating model.
At this event, you will meet leading SRE experts and practitioners who will share their stories of SRE implementations. You will gain invaluable insights into how SRE practices have accelerated their entry into the digital economy and how their investment has provided returns in business and customer outcomes.

About this Session:
As the great Maya Angelou said once, "You can’t really know where you are going until you know where you have been”. While she likely didn't expect that to apply to technology, the quote is appropriate in this era of constant change.
Site reliability engineering (SRE) went fully mainstream in 2022, as adoption took hold across organizations worldwide. And its role continues to evolve and change right along with cloud-native, observability, platform engineering and DevOps.
As we look back, it's important to reflect on what we learned as SREs during 2022 and explore what else the practice can teach us as we move into 2023.
In this session, we will analyze SRE's role in an ever-changing tech landscape and what that means for you and your organization.

About this Session:
Site reliability engineering (SRE) and Flow are intimately tied to the very nature of the job.
SREs are constantly working on complex projects that require a great deal of attention to detail and focus. To ensure the reliability of a system, you must be able to think and act quickly, seeking out and troubleshooting problems as they arise. The same level of concentration and focus is necessary for achieving Flow. It is no surprise that SREs benefit from, and often actively seek out, Flow.
But what is Flow? In this session, you will learn all about what makes up Flow, the pros and cons and how you can use it to develop and enhance your SRE experience.

About this Session:
Site Reliability Engineering practitioners have been promoting several principles and practices with the promise of helping organizations to raise the bar of operational excellence.
But when Executives and Engineers decide to adopt SRE, they have many questions and uncertainty about the path to reach a good status quo. In this session, you will be shown an SRE Maturity Model based on a set of questions that allow you to determine the level of adoption in an organization. We will look at all aspects within organization, people, technology, culture, and processes.
You will also be shown a tool that collects the answers and provides a regressive, beginner and advanced score and we will discuss next steps to progress to high levels of adoption.

About this Session:
You can't just cut a monolith into microservices. Simple database transactions become a stumbling block and a pain for the developer in distributed transaction form.
And existing solutions are complex and unreliable and are either not necessary or difficult to implement and unstable to operate.
In this session, we will resolve this issue and demonstrate how you can achieve saga-free distributed transactions with a simple and transparent process.

About this Session:
Choosing the right open-source project to use can be quite challenging. Not knowing if it’s going to be the right fit, how it will behave, and if you end up wasting time trying to make it all work. We’ve all been there.
Do you know that there’s a practical way to have a clear understanding of how to incorporate an OSS project in your environment?
In this session, we will cover the DevOps perspective for open-source and the challenges Infra-focused engineers have with choosing the right project for their environment.
Using practical advice, we will talk about the business mindset you should have to evaluate the key indicators based on your needs and specific pain points.

About this Session:
Are you tired of working harder and want to work smarter instead? Is there a process you're constantly doing that is repetitive and timeconsuming?
Automating with API calls and bash commands can help you streamline your workflow.
As SRE front-line workers, we spend a lot of time toiling away at manual tasks. "Can't we automate this?" "Well, it isn't constant enough" or "I don't know how" are the most common objections.
You don't need to work harder, you need to work smarter and in this session, I will show you how.
